Bruce P. Babbitt is a founding member of the firm. His practice encompasses nearly all aspects of construction law and government contracting. Matters that he has prosecuted or defended include heavy and highway work, notably the I-205 bridge between Portland and Vancouver, WA, jails, sports arenas, resorts, hospitals, airport construction, including baggage systems, port facilities, residential construction, and large construction defect litigation. He is the former chairman of the State Bar Association Construction Law Section.
Mr. Babbitt represents architects, private owners, public agencies, subcontractors, and general contractors in drafting and negotiating contract documents, bid protests, claims, arbitration, mediation, and practice before state and federal courts, including the United States Court of Federal Claims. He serves as a mediator and arbitrator.
